The launch of CAMRA’s Peak District Pub Walks

CAMRA would like to invite you to the launch of the 3rd edition of Peak District Pub Walks, by Bob Steel.

A pocket-sized travellers’ guide to some of the best walking and best pubs in the Peak District, this book explores some of the region’s fascinating industrial heritage and has useful information about local transport and accommodation.

To launch the title, author Bob Steel will visit the Boat in Cromford to introduce and sign copies, before taking interested parties on one of the local walks.

Taking place on Saturday 14th July at 12 pm at The Boat Inn, Cromford, Matlock DE4 3QF, it will consist of a Book Signing and Meet The Author event, followed by a walk from one of the books (around 6 miles in total)

Completely updated to reflect changes to the Peak District pub and beer scene since the last edition, it includes new or altered routes and many new pubs. Easy-to-use ordnance survey maps and concise route information make it the perfect guide for the casual walk as well as the more serious hiker.
