The 37th Derby Summer Beer Festival took place 9th - 13th July in a marquee on the Market Place due to the recent problems with the Assembly Rooms. The theme this year was the 50 year anniversary of Derby Mountain Rescue who have already been called out to several incidents in the Matlock area this year. Beer Festivals can only operate because they are staffed by volunteers - so a team from our area was pleased to be able to help man the bar on the friday afternoon.
